When you apply to become a tester, we collect:

  • Your Instagram handle and Facebook name
  • Your body measurements (such as bust, waist, hip, height) and ready-to-wear size
  • Optional photos you upload to give us a sense of your style and photo quality. These photos are automatically deleted 14 days after upload

1.2 During the testing period

If you are approved as a tester, we collect:

  • Your answers to questionnaires about the testing experience, such as feedback on sewing pattern quality and difficulty
  • Photos showing your completed garments and testing progress. These are kept to help us evaluate our patterns and support improvements

1.3 Automatically collected information

When you use our platform, we automatically collect:

  • IP address - for security, spam prevention, and to understand where our testers are located
  • Browser type and device information - to ensure platform compatibility
  • Cookies - essential cookies only, to keep you logged in and maintain platform security
  • Security metrics - backend access logs for security and fraud prevention (we do not track your clicks or feature usage)

We use Google reCAPTCHA for spam prevention, which may collect additional information according to Google's privacy policy.

We collect your data to:

  • Choose testers: Select a diverse group of testers who can provide valuable feedback
  • Improve our patterns: Your feedback and photos help us understand what works well and what needs improvement

  • IP addresses and security metrics: Kept for 90 days for security purposes
